Mr. Adam Pavelchik
Principal and HS Coordinator

    Adam Pavelchik is licensed in the state of Florida. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Martin Luther College and a Master’s degree in Education- English as a Second Language from the UW- Whitewater. He is currently completing coursework towards a Master’s degree in Educational Administration.

Mr. Pavelchik has taught at the elementary level in both Lutheran and public schools. He served as an Assistant Principal and classroom teacher for 6 years, and as an ESL teacher for 6 years.

He has a passion for all things language. Additionally, he is an avid user and proponent of technology. He believes in engaging students in learning by encouraging them to be innovative beings. 

This lead him to apply for a Fund for Teacher's Fellowship (which he was awarded along with two other teachers) to study the innovative educational practices of Scandinavian schools.

He is dedicated to fostering a school environment that sparks creativity, exploration, and imagination while keeping God's Word at the forefront.

Pastor Kurtis Freimuth
Catechism and HS Religion


Pastor Freimuth was grew up in a mix of Colorado, Utah, and Indiana.  He was blessed to attend Grace Lutheran Elementary School in Sandy Utah and had faithful teachers and pastors that told him about Jesus.  He served in the National Guard from 2000-2008.  Pastor earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Valparaiso University and taught in the Lutheran Education System for 10 years before deciding to attend seminary in Mankato, Minnesota.  In 2016, he was assigned to Grace Lutheran Church in Vero Beach, FL to serve his vicarage.  At the conclusion of his vicarage year (2017), he graduated with a Master’s of Divinity from Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary and was called as Pastor to Peace Lutheran Church and School in Kissimmee, FL.  He is very excited to be part of a Lutheran School and looks forward to seeing the children and families at Peace grow in God’s Word!


Mrs. Andrea Freimuth
6th-8th Grade

  Andrea Freimuth joined the staff at Peace this year. She grew up in New London Wisconsin and attended Emanuel Lutheran Church and School. She is a graduate of Fox Valley Lutheran and received a bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University and a master’s degree from Lehigh University. After graduating, she taught for nine years in Pennsylvania and three years in Minnesota before following Pastor Freimuth to Florida. She has taught various combinations of multi-grade classrooms from fourth through eighth grade. Her favorite subjects to teach are math, reading, and history.

Mrs. Mandy Pavelchik
4th and 5th Grade



Mandy Pavelchik has state teaching licenses from WI and FL. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Martin Luther College. She has served as a supervisor of student teachers who are preparing to be teachers in our Lutheran Schools.  She is a Lead Mentor for the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod’s (WELS) New Teacher Induction Program, providing guidance for mentors and beginning teachers in the Southeastern region of the U.S.

Mrs. Pavelchik is beginning her 15th year of teaching and has experience in teaching multi-grade classrooms from 2nd to 6th grade. In addition to teaching and mentoring, Mrs. Pavelchik teaches piano lessons, assists in directing school songs, and plays for church services each month.

Goals and Philosophy of Christian Education: 

1. To instruct the student in God’s Word and to equip the him or her for a life of service that glorifies God.
2. To inspire the student to use abilities, gifts, and talents to the best of his or her ability.
3. To teach the learner, understand the learner’s individuality as a child of God, and to realize that teaching is not complete until learning is achieved.


Mrs. Katie Krug
2nd and 3rd Grade


Katie Krug joined the staff at Peace in January of 2015.  Katie graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in December with a Major in Elementary Education (Kindergarten to 6th grade), Early Childhood Education (birth-age 8), and a minor in Physical Education. For elementary student teaching, she taught in a public school and in a Lutheran school. She taught Kindergarten at Lafayette Charter School in Lafayette, Minnesota for 5 weeks then 3rd Grade at Peace Lutheran in Hartford, Wisconsin for 10 weeks.

Before moving to Kissimmee, she was finishing her student teaching for Early Childhood Education. She taught at the Martin Luther College Early Childhood Learning Center for 18 weeks. There she cared for and taught infants, toddlers, and preschool (ages 2.5-5).


Miss Justine Smith
Kindergarten and 1st Grade


Justine Smith joined the faculty of Peace Lutheran School in 2013. She previously taught Kindergarten and in a multi-grade classroom (Grades K through 4) at Trinity Lutheran School in El Paso, TX.

Miss Smith has an Education degree from Martin Luther College and teaching licenses from the states of Florida and Texas.

Her favorite subjects to teach are math and art and she loves finding projects that allow kids to express themselves. She enjoys painting in her spare time.
